On the ground floor of MagnaPlaza, a classy shopping center housed in a former post office just behind the Royal Palace on De Dam, Velvet Uomo stands out with its elaborate collection of European and American menswear labels. Shirts and suits are beautiful here -- D&G, Bikkembergs and Gucci -- and they differ a lot from what you tend to get in the high street.
