One of Amsterdam's most famous and beloved “coffee houses,” the buzz at this pint-sized café not only comes from the psychedelic offerings served at the bar, but also from the eclectic crowd that frequents it—gay, lesbian and straight. Located on the gayest street in town, it’s easy to lose an entire afternoon here sampling herbal offerings alongside the laid-back and colorful patrons. Just act quick: foreigners will be barred from taking part in coffee shop “culture” by the end of the year!
