The Lloyd Hotel building gets around. First, The Royal Lloyd, a company that shipped immigrants during the great exodus to the United States, occupied it early last century. Followed by the Nazis who used is as headquarters, and later young delinquent boys who were imprisoned there. Not surprisingly, this decadent hussy of a hotel is gay-managed and run by a group of Amsterdam's cultural elite. Choose from 117 spacious, artist designed rooms, all unique, especially the one with a childrens' swing in it.
