Unmissable Mayfair 5* luxury landmark celebrating London's capacity to adapt to evolving styles and times. Quintessential English assemblage of heyday chic and opulence combined with requisite modern touches. Since 1931, hotel has been enjoying same grand location and status- latest 2003 decor revamp has not quite managed to eradicate chintzy country house feel. Rooms are delightfully confortable and generous in size with most mod cons and some rather twee floris toiletries. Two restaurants, traditional Grill room and China Tang are worth a visit for breakfast and some asian seafood and don't miss out of the renowed Dorchester Afternoon tea.
