Opening in July, the Conservatorium Hotel is something special. (Would you expect less from Design Hotel's only Amsterdam listing?) Used as a conservatory up until last year, when all the Beethoven-to-be’s got the boot so guests could enjoy one of the 128 elegant rooms and suites, the striking building offers a spa with a hammam and watsu pool. Guests are invited to join yoga, tai chi and pilates classes as well. And if that doesn’t do it for you: the most luxurious shopping street is just around the corner.
