Don't mess with Montreal when it comes to bagels. They're the best, that's it, that's all. Toronto? New York? Fughettaboddit. It's an argument that can't be won. Hand-rolled, baked in a wood-burning oven, sesame or poppy seed -hot and fresh with a gob of cream cheese. The seeds stuck in your teeth are just a little bonus to enjoy again later.
