One glimpse of the Nimb from the outside, with its Taj Mahal-esque facade illuminated by gaudy Vegas-like lights, would be enough to send most taste arbiters fleeing -- that is, if they didn't know better. Just inside is what's arguably the city's finest hotel, offering right sumptuous homey Danish luxury. The 13 spacious and individually-appointed guest rooms use select antique pieces to complement modern design, and with the iconic Tivoli Gardens literally serving as the hotel's backyard, nearly all rooms have fantastic park views. Herman, one of the city's top restaurants, is onsite, as is the more casual (but still excellent) Nimb Brasserie.
