At the corner of the Rembrandtplein an ABN AMRO bank branch gets a new life with new basement tenant Marqt, a supermarket for the conscious consumer. All products sold there are fresh and if possible, organic (biological), too. Milk is sold in cartons just saying ‘Milk’ and so are butter, eggs, etc. It's all a bit twee but also modern: no cash, only debit cards are accepted. Good for a look and drooly wander, on beautiful days pick up a pre-packed lunch to enjoy by a canal.
