Like some of its clientele, Le Folie's Pigalle is trans: born a theater, dressed as a cinema, converted to a cabaret, and finally fully realized as a club, it's without a doubt one of the most eclectic bets in town. Smaller than it looks on the outside, but with big vision to compensate, raunchy themes play out certain nights (no doubt inspired by its famously seedy location) and more straightforward ones on others, from Afro-Latin house to electro rock (both nights boasting topless go-go girls) to one of the two tranny nights available in the city. The crowd is always a genial mix of gays, straights, and transsexuals (mostly MTF). Thumping after hours weekends till noon.
