The joke of its name (which basically translates to Meat-Town Fish-Bar) may be lost on most foreigners (the trendy area where this hot new restaurant is located, Kødbyen, is the city's meatpacking district), but what's clear as dag is that this is currently one of the hippest and most popular eateries in town. And for good reason: Between its ties to the best local fishermen, its fresh hauls from the Rungis fish market outside of Paris, and the brilliance of former Noma chef Martin Bentzen, Fiskebar serves up the finest seafood in town, all within a sleek-chic industrial setting.
