Sprawling bazaar Jackalope calls itself a "feast for the senses." And it is, because the legendary store -- founded in 1976 by former Manhattan business man Charles "Darby" McQuade -- features a bevy of folk art, rugs, bags, furniture, plants, etc. Though it can be a sensory overload at points, the wide-open space keeps Jackalope manageable. Even if you're not in the market for an oil tote bag, check this place out for McQuade's 150 white pigeons, which live with him on site. This is quintessential Santa Fe: eccentric and bohemian, but with a touch of class.
