Like the Nimb Hotel with which it shares a Moorish roof, Restaurant Herman is a small and luxuriously intimate affair inside Tivoli Gardens. Chef Thomas Herman concocts heavenly seasonal creations, international in scope but Danish by inspiration, winning a Michelin star in 2009, the same year it was pegged Restaurant of the Year by the Danish equivalent to the Michelin Guide. The four, five or six-course menu includes otherworldly favorites like seared foie gras with pickled cherries, and Scandinavian shellfish with bisque of dried chamomile.
