Not a gay bar per se, but rather, a friendly "mixed bar with a strong preference for tutus and wigs," El Rio's patio is a popular hangout on sunny days and often hosts free barbecues and oysters. El Rio often holds shows-art, comedy, drag, burlesque, and music-and celebrated its 31st anniversary this year. Viva El Rio!
