CPH old school defined. Centralhjørnet (translation: Central corner) is Copenhagen's oldest queer bar, with a manifesto that's clearly "If it ain't broke, cover it in kitsch." Some of the staff and crowd have been around for eons, but the place is just so damned friendly and unapologetically gay (in both the sexual and happiness senses) that it pulls in young locals as well. Sundays and Thursdays bring performances by the likes of drag auntie Irma (alter ego of owner Torben Rasmussen) and sexy acoustic song stylers Lars Out Loud.
