The weekend-only Be Proud is Copenhagen's biggest gay disco, located dead in the city center, just next to the sexed-up Museum Erotica (open till 11pm from May to September). In the so-called main room, mainstream LGBTers appropriately move to mainstream pop and dance hits. On Saturdays the top floor Loft section becomes Cosmo (cosmocph.dk), playing the same soundtrack, but pulling in a younger crowd whose livers can better bear the open bar free-for-all. For those feeling vocal, there's a downstairs karaoke lounge.
