Sure, there might be Copenhagen hotels with a bit more luxury, centrality, or perhaps even hipness. But you won't find the same high levels of all three, bound together into such a welcoming package nor at such affordable rates, as at the 68-room Avenue, just a few (short and walkable) blocks northwest of the city center. Its smart decor, relaxed vibe, and indulgent staff make it feel like a stylish upscale home, and unique touches like the Avenue Shop (selling groovy design items 24 hours a day) and the Yellow Lounge (a Berlin-born concept of bringing classical music into new environments) give it that extra special punch.
